Do you ever feel like the standard weekly 50-minute therapy sessions just aren't cutting it in helping you achieve the life you truly desire?

  • You may have a sense that despite your commitment to therapy, something significant still lingers, leaving you puzzled as to why progress feels slow in managing your OCD symptoms. While you've intellectually grasped new strategies, your mind and body remain entangled in OCD patterns, sparking your interest in exploring more intensive therapy techniques.

  • Perhaps you've contemplated starting weekly therapy for your OCD, but the demands of your busy schedule make it seem overwhelming, and the thought of waiting weeks or months for an appointment only adds to the anxiety.

  • Alternatively, if you're currently struggling with OCD symptoms and seeking rapid relief, you might prefer a more intensive therapeutic approach, rather than enduring months or years of traditional weekly therapy sessions.

  • If you're new to seeking treatment for OCD, you might find the idea of diving into intensive therapy appealing, as it offers a focused and immersive approach to tackling your symptoms.

In today's world, it's important to have options and flexibility in how we receive support.

Inference Based CBT Intensive:

Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (IBT or I-CBT) a proven solution for OCD and related disorders. Grounded in solid evidence, ICBT targets the root cause of obsessions: Inferential Confusion-the tendency to believe what MIGHT be true, instead of what is ACTUALLY true. Are you stuck in a cycle of obsessional doubts and compulsions? That's where ICBT steps in, offering 12 comprehensive modules and practical exercises to reinforce your progress between sessions.

ICBT differs from ERP in that:

  • Obsessions are not random, they're happening due to a reasoning process

  • No exposures

  • No distress tolerance (not getting stressed on purpose)

  • Focuses on the obsessions vs the compulsions/behaviors

  • ICBT is a cognitive intervention, while ERP is a behavioral intervention

Feeling trapped by OCD may give the impression that recovery is out of reach, but that's not the case. OCD isn't a life sentence, and healing is achievable.

Despite experiencing intrusive thoughts, you can still lead a satisfying and joyful life. I can guide you on the path to learning how.

Weekly Therapy May Include:

  • 10-15 mins follow up on the previous session

  • around 20 mins of ICBT

  • 10-15 mins of closing & assigning homework

You might find yourself dedicating a whole month to addressing just one particular source of stress, which could cost you $1,000 for those four weekly therapy sessions.

However, in reality, issues tend to arise between sessions, making you reluctant to wait until the next session to address them, and the focus of each session might veer off course significantly from week to week.

As a result, you could end up continuing weekly therapy for several months, which would multiply the cost, and still not find complete resolution for the current stressor.

Intensive Therapy May Include:

  • 10-15 mins to check in & set the agenda

  • around 75-210 mins of ICBT

  • 10-15 mins of closing & assigning homework

You could find complete resolution for one or even several concerns in just half a day, which might cost around $2,000. Spending 2-3 hours on ICBT allows you to accomplish more in less time and requires fewer therapy sessions overall.

This means you start feeling better much sooner.

Additionally, you save money by needing fewer sessions to manage symptoms.

Furthermore, you avoid having to take time off work or pay for childcare to attend therapy sessions regularly.
